LE VISIBLE , LA MYDRIASE , L’INVISIBLE

Les œuvres présentées ici veulent représenter des réalités intangibles mais bel et bien réelles : où l’abstraction ne serait que de la figuration d’autres mondes.

Comment peindrait-on une âme humaine ou l’inconscient collectif terrestre ou encore « l’esprit du moment  » ?

C’est dans le symbolisme notamment ou les sciences ou encore dans l’imagerie de quelque tradition que se puise un langage infini de formes… Il se crée alors un vocabulaire qui constituerait une passerelle entre les mythes, les rêves et les mystères.

Chaque œuvre se décline sous trois « lumières ». Les œuvres s’observent aussi bien sous une lumière blanche, ou une lumière noire de type U.V., ou dans l’obscurité la plus totale.

Ce procédé- que l’on pourrait nommer « Mydriasisme »- invoque enfin, grâce à l’utilisation de matières fluorescentes ET phosphorescentes,

UNE CONTINUITÉ DU VISIBLE DANS L’INVISIBLE ET DE L’INVISIBLE DANS LE VISIBLE.

The abstract pieces within this body of work represent, as far as possible, intangible realities, though we all feel them many times in very real ways.

How do we represent a human soul or collective consciousness, for example? We draw from the mystic power of symbolism or natural science or traditional imagery that forms an infinite shape of language that creates a gateway among myths, dreams, and mysteries.
To embrace the full progression of each piece, it is strongly suggested to observe the work through three states of light, as images within images, including natural light, black light (U.V.) light or total darkness.
This process, baptized Nyctoluxism, invokes the use of fluorescent and phosphorescent material, allowing A CONTINUITY OF THE VISIBLE WITHIN THE INVISIBLE AND THE INVISIBLE WITHIN THE VISIBLE.
